Over 42 hectares, 406,962 square meters and over 200,000 people daily the Mall Of Asia is one of the largest Malls in the whole entire world.
The construction of MOA began in mid-2002 with the design team including Arquitectonica (an international architecture, interior design and planning corporation) and Design Architect Robert Carag Ong and Associates. The mall was officially introduced by the President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo last May 20, 2006.
It is divided into four main areas, the Main Mall, the Entertainment Mall, the South Wing and the North Wing. Shopping and dining establishments including the food court may be found at the Main Mall. You can find the cinema theatres at the Entertainment Mall, which faces the Manila Bay, including IMAX 3D theatre. The South Wing houses the SM Department Store where you can shop for different items for all ages. The Bayad Center (The Payment Center), where you can pay your bills. is also located here. The North Wing features the SM Hypermarket, which is open from 10AM – 10PM.
